I'm conflicted, the other engines are just better than the 3.0 V6 turbo-diesel.

Still a Maserati, So YES.

No, the sound of a Maserati is the best part of a Maserati and no Diesel can replicate it. I can just imagine the glorious new Maserati screaming to it's 4,500 RPM redline... fuck that.

Because you've got a MASSIVE VOLKSWAGEN-SHAPED DILDO SHOVED UP YOUR ASS and you can't justify getting an Italian car over a Porsche without saying "Well, at least I got the responsible choice."
Just hope that you don't stain your seats when the liquid superiority drips from your teutonic asscheeks.

Take your conclusions , I didn't like it.

This is gold and you are exactly right.

Is it still a Maserati? I mean, its heart is gone.

But it's still a Maserati engine amiright?

Nope, VM Motori. Same as the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Meh, mostly everything else is still Maserati. It's got to be more reliable than usual though.

Reliability is so boring.

A diesel Maser is strange to me. The only reason I would buy one is if I absolutely couldn't afford the taxes/fuel costs/etc., but if I'm so pressed for cash, why the hell am I buying a Maserati?

I had to crank my speakers way up just to be sure that was the car and not background noise. That sounds like shit.

Because people might want something a bit different than a 5-series or an A6, and the Ghibli is a nice option, and they also live in Europe. And a Diesel Ghibli is 3 to 8k€ more than a similar offer from BMW and Audi.
